JOB DESCRIPTION
Volt is immediately hiring multiple Mechanics for immediate temp to hire employment..
As a Mechanic you will :
- Install and assembly of mechanical components on gas turbine engines
- Layout, fabricate and perform assembly of engines and motors
- Install hydraulic tubing
- Route cables and wires and perform electrical terminations
- Cable harnessing and wire harnessing
- Follow blueprints and drawings
- Utilize hand tools - specifically wrenches
We have full time and temp to hire opportunities.
We are hiring for 1st shift (6am - 2 : 30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm - 11 : 30pm). Most openings being available on 2nd shift.
LOTS of overtime available. The company offers job stability, growth opportunities and a fun / employee friendly environment.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Mechanical assembly experience - layout, install, wiring, of larger mechanical pieces - anyone who has worked with wrenches and hand tools
- Experience working as a auto mechanic , diesel mechanic , aviation mechanic , engine mechanic , or HVAC is preferred but not required on engines
- Shipyard or military experience ideal
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Experience using hand tools - wrenches
- Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Salary : 25.00-25.75 / hr
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
