Position Overview

Ensures all Pick Up Stix Guests are served to Pick Up Stix standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The following is a list of the job duties as they relate to Pick Up Stix four focus areas of performance. The ability to perform these duties is essential for this position.

Teamwork

Support operations by performing any other duty as assigned, to ensure the restaurant is producing to standards

Standards

• Follow all Quality Visitation Review requirements
• Work safe and smart at all times
• Know and understand all portions for different menu items
• Check for portion control and consistent food quality

Sales

• Take Guest orders using the MICROS system
• Suggestively sell to every Guest
• Tactfully and professionally resolve Guest complaints
• Follow all Secret Shopper requirements
• Maintain Guest awareness at all times to ensure service is up to Pick Up Stix standards

Quality

• Understand the flow of the restaurant and quotes correct service times
• Handle incoming phone calls, following Pick Up Stix operational standards
• Complete sidework consistently, ensuring area is clean and stocked at all times
• Prepare take-out bags for each shift
• Correctly pack all take-out orders
• Hand out orders for take-out
• Package and rotate lunch and dinner take-out setups
• Run dine-in orders to Guests table
• Follow-up with dine-in Guests
• Bus all tables
• Ensure dining room is neat and clean at all times

Education and / or Experience

Less than high school educations, or

One to three months related experience or training, or

Equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentage

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
