THE JOB
The Account Manager is responsible for the retention and development of ongoing relationships between Coface and its key clients, as well as their intermediaries in order to maximize revenue and retention of profitable clients.
The Account Manager serves as a product reference and a problem solver for Coface’s prospects / client.
In this role you will handle client negotiations and come up with strategies to manage interactions with clients / prospect in a positive and professional manner.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Builds strong customer relationships through regular and proactive communication using various media and collaborative tools.
- Responds swiftly and appropriately to questions and concerns from clients and their intermediaries.
- Utilizes a consultative approach in determining the most effective coverage for a particular client need in administering pricing tools in preparation for bids.
- Prices quotes with commercial and risk underwriters who will structure and decided commercial terms.
- Communicates client needs and demands to Coface.
- Delivers critical data to the client; translating critical information into client needs.
Account Management :
- Acts as a central point of contact for the client and / or its intermediaries.
- Prepares and present sales proposals / renewal offers to deliver renewal revenue and achieve maximum sales profitability.
- Demonstrates all Coface offerings to existing clients to determine those solutions best suited for their needs. Develop and execute cross selling strategies to Coface’s existing clients
- Works proactively on renewals and address any potential risks / vulnerabilities in advance.
- Identifies weaknesses in the portfolio and come up with solutions while ensuring client retention.
- Collaborates to ensure timely renewal of policies, confirm all contractual documentation and full compliance with company rules and external regulators.
- Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
- Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
- Coordinates with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
- Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
- Services multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
- Keeps records of client transactions.
Market Knowledge :
Establishes and ensure credibility with clients by clearly articulating detailed current market conditions, and aligning the Coface value proposition vs our competitors.
Communication :
- Supplies management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Develops, maintains and levers strong relationships with intermediaries in order to increase the client retention.
THE CANDIDATE
In order to be considered, you must possess the following :
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least three (3) years of administrative experience in a credit insurance, banking, claims, or factoring organization would be beneficial.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications : Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- P&C Insurance license a plus, or ability to pass licensing course 60 days from hire date.
