DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the PMO Director, the Program manager will be providing thought leadership and support to the CBB Surface Solutions Leadership Team by bringing a structured approach to solving complex business challenges and deploying large cross-functional strategic initiatives, and continuously maturing the PMO and PPM capabilities across the organization.
Solutions Strategy & Transformation PMO Overview
The CBB Surface Solutions Strategy & Transformation PMO reports directly to the Business Unit President supporting the entire Business Unit’s Portfolio of Strategic Initiatives.

Role Objectives
- Become trusted partner to Surface Solutions Leadership Team and other key stakeholders
- Ensure clarity, alignment, completeness, communication and delivery of desired outcomes, KPIs, deployment plans, and business solutions
- Assist PMO Director in building out Strategic PMO and driving the overall maturity, discipline and application of project, program and portfolio management capabilities
- Ensure coordinated change management and communications
Strategic Program Management
- Lead the establishment, planning, and drive the deployment of large BU-wide cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Facilitate definition of problem statement, goals, objectives, KPIs, scope, budget, resources, and work-stream structure
- Develop and own Initiative deployment Plans including Roadmaps, milestone identification, sequencing, phasing, resourcing, and work stream coordination
- Manage the execution and completion of Initiatives by effectively partnering with Senior Leadership, coordinating cross-functional resources and dependencies, and driving work stream plans
- Drive and ensure alignment between Senior Leaders on key priorities, objectives, scope, and timing
- Develop executive level reporting & presentations that communicates the direction, significant milestones and results of specific PMO initiatives
- Lead Executive Steering Committee meetings to review progress, performance, risks, roadblocks, and drive necessary decisions to move work forward
- Develop & manage any applicable budgets, vendor statements of work and contracts
Business Consulting & Solutioning
- Serve as advisor, internal consultant and strategic thought partner to Surfaces Extended Leadership Team in strategy development, resource allocation, execution plans, risks, timelines, KPIs, and financial outcomes
- Facilitate business solution design and process-reengineering efforts
- Identify business improvement opportunities
PMO Maturity and Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to maturing and continuous improvement of the PMO and PPM capabilities necessary for managing overall Portfolio framework and successful delivery of Strategic Initiatives
- Provide Program and Project Management coaching and consulting to Senior Business Leaders
- Contribute to the development of Portfolio, Program, and Project management best-practices and templates
- Build advocacy and act as a catalyst for the sharing and implementation of PMO framework and best-practices

- Experience working within an Enterprise / Strategy / Business Transformation PMO
- Professional Certifications preferred PMP, PgMP, PfMP, Blackbelt
- Experience in driving PMO / PPM maturity
- Ability to work in the gray and bring structure to the undefined
- Execute with limited information and ambiguity
- Strong end to end Program Management capabilities
- Ability to wear multiple hats (Program Manager, Project Manager; Problem Solver; Process Improver; Solution Designer; Data Analytics)
- Ability to manage multiple Programs simultaneously
- Ability to translate business needs into business solutions
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements / specifications
- Experienced on facilitating working sessions (i.e. solution design; program definition; scoping, etc)
- Understanding of diverse problem solving tools (process mapping, value added flow analysis, value stream mapping, cause and effect, Pareto Chart analysis and any others)
- Strong Understanding of financial management, budgeting and forecasting
- Strong Understanding of BI analytics / Data Management
- Good Understanding of Technology / Systems as it relates to enabling overall business processes
- Comprehensive knowledge Microsoft Office ecosystem

Required Skills / Experience
- Bachelor's degree Business or closely related field
- Minimum 5 years leading large Strategic and / or Business Transformation Cross-functional Initiatives (3+ workstreams; 3+ functions)
- Need to have established / defined / structured large Cross-functional Initiatives from scratch
- Understanding and experience with various project delivery methods PMBOK, Agile, DMAIC
- Minimum 3 years working within a PMO and contributing to PMO maturity

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $140,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
