How You'll Make an Impact :

DispatchHealth seeks a dynamic leader to join an innovative and rapidly growing team in Columbus, OH. This individual is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one market containing one to four cars.

This includes managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. They will also be responsible for maintaining medical equipment, ordering supplies, and implementing policies and procedures.

Direct reports include DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) in assigned area.

What You'll Do :

The DispatchHealth Market Manager holds primary daily operational accountability for assigned DispatchHealth markets. This includes driving clarity, consistency, and performance through a collaborative and engaging leadership style, aligning with internal stakeholders to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals.

Under direction of Area / Regional Leadership, assist in business development activities to further grow DispatchHealth and p rovide on-call support to regional operations team as needed.

  • P & L Management : Responsible for analyzing and assisting with the financial performance of designated Markets and service lines, leading, and implementing financial strategies to improve key measures, and monitoring and analyzing budget variances with explanations and action plans to increase productivity and profitability.
  • Performance Management : Manage and improve the performance of DHMTs through evaluations, feedback, coaching, development opportunities, monitoring and analyzing performance KPI data, communicating expectations and goals, and collaborating with other leaders to align with organizational goals.
  • Hiring & Training : Manage the hiring process for DHMT staff, including creating job postings, sourcing, and recruiting candidates, making hiring decisions, providing training during onboarding and ongoing evaluations.
  • Lab : Collaborate with the Central Services Lab team to ensure effective management and implementation of competency training, temperature logs, recording of results, supplies, and maintenance of moderately complex certification standards within the market.
  • Fleet : Oversee and maintain market fleet by coordinating with central fleet, including scheduling maintenance, car washes, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Supply Chain : Manage the clinical office supplies inventory, including ordering, receiving, maintaining accurate counts, utilizing inventory software, auditing clinical kits for accuracy, managing lot numbers to prevent expiration, coordinating, and completing annual physical inventory count, and managing product additions, removals, and conversions while ensuring compliance with Pegasus tracking system.

What You Need :

  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required
  • Education or experience equivalent to a 4-year college degree is preferred
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • A minimum of one year experience in healthcare and management of direct reports.
  • Interpersonal skills : ability to cultivate strong relationships.
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Initiative and a sense of competitive drive
  • Ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, comfort with ambiguity.
  • Strong operational, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools
