Supervisor/Senior Supervisor (Aseptic Operations)

Please note we run a front-half back-half 24x7 manufacturing operation; this position could be either Day, Swing, or Night.

Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) is a drug product & finished goods manufacturing organization responsible for the reliable delivery of Roche’s commercial portfolio & pipeline products.

The Operations organization at HTO is divided into 2 value streams, which combine to produce millions of units of life-saving medicine every year to patients around the world.

Job Summary :

The Supervisor / Senior Supervisor Manufacturing (Aseptic Operations) role is a people leadership position, which serves the specialized technical staff responsible for aseptic operations including component preparation and compounding of aseptic products.

It is a scheduled shift leadership position, which supports the Value Stream organization as a member of the Value Stream Leadership Team (VSLT).

In this capacity, it supports the strategy deployment for the Value Stream, development and coaching of people across the Value Stream and supporting teams in development of tangible actions to realize business results.

The position organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the technical team and collaboration with a cross-functional management team to facilitate efficient decision making necessary to meet customer needs, in alignment with the site goals..

You will create an environment of strong team spirit, timely and effective communications, sense of urgency and delivery to customers, high motivation and inspire teams to achieve goals in the immediate and longer term in alignment with quality and safety standards.

You will maximize the efficiencies of all business procedures and systems and support the VSLT in the establishment of Value Stream KPIs and conduct quality and performance assessments.

You will ensure manufacturing of quality products according to Health Authority and Roche Pharmaceutical Quality System requirements, including Discrepancy Management System, CAPA systems, Quality Risk Management and Technical Change Management.

You will monitor and optimize E2E operations and address potential issues when they arise.

You will partner with our supporting functions on staffing related initiatives, process, throughput and schedule optimizations

You will ensure the facility is always regulatory inspection-ready through observation, coaching, teaching and upskilling of value stream staff.

Foster quality mindset and a culture of compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

You will support, coach and teach team members in development activities that foster a deep understanding and consistent use of lean and agile ways of working, which result in waste reduction and a strong sense of ownership.

You have advanced knowledge and subject matter expertise in cGMP biologics with an understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and GMP regulations

You have experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Quality by Design, Business Analytics and SAP experience preferred.

Preferred :

You have experience in large scale commercial manufacturing of aseptically processed products (Formulation, Filling, Lyophilization) is highly desirable.

You have experience with pre-filled syringe and / or auto-injector manufacturing operations

Note that this position can be offered as a Senior Supervisor / Manager / Senior Manager, depending on your experience.

Requirements for Supervisor :

BS with 0-2 years of people leadership experience

Requirements for Senior Supervisor :

BS with 2-4 years of people leader experience.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Hillsboro, OR is $72,000 - $134,000 for the Supervisor level and 75,000 - 139,000 for the Senior Supervisor level.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
