Position Overview

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse- Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members;

providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

Medical Assistant- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals.

This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.

Location and Hours of Position

PHN 29 Saltsburg Rd. Clarksburg, PA 15725 NOTE : This position is for 40hrs a week with flexible time. PHN Jacksonville Health Center general office hours are :

• Monday to Friday 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm
• 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month 10 : 30 am - 7 : 00 pm
• NO WEEKENDS!

Compensation

RN starts at $28 per hour, LPN starts at $20 per hour, MA starts at $17 per hour. PHN will recognize experience, education, and site location when determining wage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and / or two years’ experience in a clinical setting
• Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
• Administering Medication
• Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
• Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction
• Computer proficient
