Job Description
In this pivotal role, Customer Service Representatives effectively handles phone interviews inbound and outbound calls for Medicare Supplement applicants in a call center environment.
The successful candidate will be able to interact appropriately and effectively with clients using excellent interpersonal, listening, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
The ability to use computer based resources in a highly effective manner to educate and provide accurate responses to inquires is crucial for success.
Job Duties
Conduct customer phone verification interviews on all inbound and outbound calls for completion of application for insurance coverage.
Order prescription drug checks on all phone verification interviews.
Process completed interviews for underwriting review.
Process, review and index applications into workflow.
Maintain detailed knowledge of all products and procedures.
Requirements
High-speed internet
Dedicated and uninterrupted workspace
Typing WPM 55
Intermediate PC Skills
2-3 years of phone / customer service experience preferred
Remote work experience,
1-3 yr. s in the medical field, i.e.. familiarity with medical / healthcare verbiage
Experience working with retired, over 65+ population preferred
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
