Title : Healthcare Senior Program Manager
Location : Minnetonka, MN (remote with occasional meetings onsite. Must be local.)
Type : 6-month Contract-To-Hire
Conversion Salary Range , based on experience and qualifications : $125k - $160k with full benefits, plus eligible for 10% Bonus

Overview :
The Program Manager will coordinate activities for several concurrent high-visibility programs, using agile methods in a fast-paced environment, crossing multiple business divisions.
Programs will consist of multiple agile teams, operating in an Integrated Delivery Model / Scaled Agile framework and require integration with other activities outside the scope of the agile teams.
Accountabilities :
- Development and management of program budget including forecasts and actual spend
- Partner with business stakeholders to define and understand program scope, milestones, and business outcomes
- Develop a critical path with business milestones and timeline in partnership with business
- Ensure coordination and synchronization of epic-related (program) activities (business readiness, communications, process design, technology delivery, etc.)
- Manage executive stakeholder communications, including preparation and facilitation of Executive Steering Committees
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demo, and Solution Demo, as necessary to ensure alignment across multiple ARTs and business divisions;
role is to highlight and assist in resolving any gaps in alignment for deliverables
- Support the Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Readiness representatives in managing expectations for program deliverables
- Hold teams accountable for their deliverables and commitments; serve as an escalation resource and help to remove obstacles and facilitate decisions as needed
Requirements :
- 8+ years experience with a minimum of 5 years working with large programs of $2m or more
- Health plan migration experience (benefits, claims, pharmacy, data, etc.)
- Healthcare (payer) experience including knowledge of HIPAA transactions
- Understanding of healthcare IT systems, data migration tools (ETL / API / Batch / Integration), and hosting solutions (on-prem / cloud) is beneficial for overseeing the migration process
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management tools such as ApptioTargetprocess (ATP)m Jira, Rally, VersionOne, or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office tools
- Risk management skills
- Effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team-building
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish / maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
- Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
- Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
