Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PICU 4F
Shift : Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, 5 weekend shifts in 6 weeks
Length : 13 weeks
Holiday Requirement : potentially- expect to work at least 1 during a contract
Requirements :
- ID RN License
- Must have 2 years of PICU experience
- Required to titrate drips
- PALS
Other details :
- Floating Requirements : Peds for full assignment, frequent floating
- Ok with first time travelers
- Radius rule of 50 miles
- Charting System : Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
of Beds : 12 (in summer census is around 4, and winter months 6)
- Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 2
- Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Trach / vent, DKA, respiratory, surgical (trachs, g-tubes, shunts,hernia repairs, seizures) no cardiac
- Vent, bubble CPAP, BiPAP
