We are seeking a part-time experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse for our 22-bed Pediatric Specialty Care Unit / Peds Step Down Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital / Inova L.J Children's Hospital.
Come work with a team that cares for the patient and the team members! Our 22-bed Pediatric Specialty Care Unit (formerly known as PIMC unit) cares for intermediate level patients specializing in renal diagnosis and high flow.
Nurses will also care for medical / surgical patients with all diagnoses requiring step-down care. Nurse ratios are 3 : 1 for IMC status patients and 4 : 1 for floor status patients.

Schedule : Part time Day / Night Rotation or Night shift. 2 x 12-hour shifts / week
Requirements :
- Minimum of one-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. Prefer Pediatric step-down experience.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- Education BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN)- must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills
