Job Description
This role is uniquely structured into three key areas :
- Administrative Tasks (30%) :
- Handle day-to-day administrative duties such as managing emails, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars.
- Organize and maintain digital filing systems.
- Prepare and edit documents and reports.
- Manage an inventory spreadsheet of food items and configure markup and pricing for the menu.
- Manage menus by updating prices and adding and subtracting items as necessary.
- Write and curate job descriptions for local weekend help for upcoming events as needed.
- Order event inventory, including food supplies, food, and small item orders (Amazon, Walmart).
- Upcoming Project : Research various accounting, payroll, and tax platforms for company use - one time.
- Market Research - NO COLD Calling (30%) KEY Function!!
- Assist in maintaining an event contact list for past, present, and future event facilitators.
- Conduct market research to identify potential events and sales opportunities.
- Find local events to attend, participate in, and serve at each weekend for the business by searching for promoters, event hosts, facilitators, etc.
The expectation is for the company to have one confirmed event each weekend.
- Assist in preparing the required documents to be sent to promoters.
- Social Media Management (30%) KEY Function!!!
- Post event flyers, menu items, and event success photos. Posting is the primary function of this role.
- Posting content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook and Instagram).
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions promptly.
- Additional Duties (10%) :
- This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
- Follow up on customer concerns via email and schedule next steps with the owner.
- Primarily engage in email communication (approximately 90%), so grammar, punctuation, and the ability to resolve issues virtually are essential.
- The remaining 10% of this role involves phone communication; in the event the owner is unavailable for an immediate call, needs to be able to address customer concerns and speak to potential partners.
- Work on emails from the "management" inbox, so high attention to detail, quick response and readiness, and the ability to have a management mindset are required.
Potential Schedule Monday-Thursday, 10 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM EST, with each function completed per day or 1.5 hours each day on all functions.
