About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapist Job Specialty : Adult Rehab Services Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 Hrs, 5x8 Hr shifts Guaranteed Hours : 40.
00 hours per week Experience : None required License : Current license from the state Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Physical Therapist Certifications : Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire Must-Have : - Knowledge of discharge planning- Medical records management- Therapeutic methods and practices- Therapy techniques- Experience with wound care Job Description : Perform various therapeutic physical therapy treatments according to physician directions under minimal supervision.
- Interpret physician orders, evaluate patients, and formulate treatment plans to achieve long and short-term goals.- Assess patients' responses to treatment and adjust plans to meet their current needs.
- Participate in the discharge planning of patients and provide them with instructions for a home program.- Document treatment results and patient responses in medical records.
- Supervise and assist students during their clinical rotations, depending on the amount of clinical experience.- Maintain and clean equipment used by the department.
- Build effective working relationships with staff and guide patients to take responsibility for their treatment and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
