Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial insights and guidance to the Executive Leadership Team, work with cross-functional teams, and collaborate with top leaders to drive key financial results.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with the FP&A senior director to lead the preparation of monthly board material, quarterly forecast, and annual budget.
- Collaborate with divisional finance directors and accounting department to understand monthly financial results
- Develop reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors that provide insight into financial performance
- Undertake high-impact ad-hoc projects for senior management, varying in nature and complexity
- Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen skill set, including a deep understanding of industry
- Assist with automation of data and files as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting or related fields
- Advanced degree
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis / forecasting in PE, consulting or in a large corporate environment
- Strong understanding of financial statements and 3-statement models (Income statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflows)
- Financial modeling capabilities
- Ability to work with and communicate with all organization levels, including senior management; ability to articulate, present and explain information in a clear and concise manner
- Advanced problem-solving skills and independent thinker; eager to tackle complex and ambiguous problems with minimal supervision
- Advanced Excel skills
- Multi-tasker with the ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong intellectual curiosity and proactive willingness to learn new skills and industry to advance career development
