Position : Senior Project Coordinator

Job Location : HC Beck, Ltd.; Dallas, Texas

Job Duties :

1. Actively participate and document meetings with owners.

2. Lead / coordinate large consultant team.

3. Facilitate decision making between design team, owner, and construction team.

4. Assist in construction administration phase and review submittals, generate punch lists, and answer RFIs.

5. Understand and apply zoning / building codes / accessibility requirements with fundamental working knowledge of construction types, building heights and areas, and fire and smoke protection requirements.

6. Collaborate on creative efforts, create, and develop overall design concept for large and complex project through all phases of project.

7. Apply Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) standards.

8. Understand construction core skills such as knowledge of building system (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting), structural system, civil engineering, sustainable strategy, and building material;

understand the architecture practice statutes in the project’s jurisdiction.

• 9. Assist in programming and generate design concepts for master plan, site planning, architectural design, and interior design;
• develop and create 3D models, drawings (Master Plan, Floor Plan, Section, and Elevation), diagrams, and presentation packages;
• coordinate with structural engineers, MEP engineers, landscape designers, civil engineers, and / or CG / graphic designers;

and assist in presenting design ideas.

10. Supervise, delineate, and review work (drawings, BIM models, code review, and design presentations) of Project Coordinators.

11. In connection with above duties, utilize experience in developing construction documents; Digital Fabrication, Computational / Parametric Design and Modeling, and 3D Printing;

Software Capability : Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper for Rhino, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suites; and exploring and researching design concepts, processes, and innovative solutions and alternatives at all stages of projects working closely with project teams.
