Overview
Why We Need Your Talents :
The Sales Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Hospitality Division, the Director of Sales, the Director of Catering and Conference Services, and the Hotel Sales Team.
On occasion, the Sales Administrative Assistance will also provide support to other departments as requested and special administrative and clerical duties.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact :
- Assists with analyzing of processes and procedures.
- Performs all administrative and clerical duties as required and instructed. Inclusive of answering multiple phones lines, properly routing calls and accurate message taking, ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate par levels of sales collateral.
- Studies methods of improving work measurements on performance standards.
- Coordinates collection and preparation of operating reports, such as banquet event orders, group resumes, time and attendance records and statistical records of performance data.
- Prepares departmental reports review and answer correspondence. May direct services such as maintenance repair, supplies, mail and files.
May compile, store and retrieve management data, using a computer.
- Set up and maintain an effective filing system, maintain accurate and complete filing on all accounts and bookings, including a daily trace file, to ensure all weekly, monthly and bi-annual deadlines are met.
- Manage and distribute incoming leads to appropriate sales personnel.

Qualifications
Must-Haves :
- Education : 2 year Associates degree in Office Administration or a High School Diploma with equivalent experience.
- Experience : Hotel Experience in a Sales Office Preferred
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

- Lifting up to 10lbs.
