About The Position
Job Title : Radiation Therapy Technologist Job Specialty : Radiation Oncology Job Duration : 6 weeks Shift : 8am-5pm Guaranteed Hours : Full-time Experience : Minimum of 2 years in specialty License : Eligible for certification as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology, registered or board eligible by ARRT Job Description : Deliver high-quality radiation therapy to patients as part of the oncology care team.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other medical professionals to plan and administer treatments safely and effectively.- Operate radiation therapy equipment with precision and adhere to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of treatment and patient progress.- Provide support and education to patients and families regarding treatment.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment by sharing expertise and supporting colleagues.- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Availability to work during two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
