Overview of the Role :

Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Observation and Med-Surg Units. This role is pivotal in managing a high patient turnover with efficiency and compassion.

As an RN in the team, you will be at the forefront of patient care, contributing to a dynamic healthcare environment and making meaningful differences in patients' lives.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver Comprehensive Care : Provide direct patient care, utilizing your expertise to manage patients’ needs effectively.
• Collaborate : Work in a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Monitor Patient Status : Regularly assess and document patients’ conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer Treatments : Implement and evaluate nursing interventions, including medications and therapeutic procedures.
• Educate Patients : Offer guidance and education to patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain Safety : Uphold safety and infection control standards within the unit.

Requirements :

• Experience : Minimum of 1 year recent acute care RN experience in Observation / Med-Surg within the last 4 years. ER RN experience is also considered.
• Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Licensure : Current FL RN license required, or a compact license with FL RN license obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Certifications : Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
