We’re seeking technology and domain experts to join our STAAT Insights development team in Weehawken, NJ to :

• Analyze and understand business and technical stories, writing code, implementing automated tests, contributing to release and iteration planning, and developing the working practices of our team.
• Help capture detailed technical requirements based on business requirements.
• Support the business in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems.
• Perform insightful and constructive code reviews to help maintain and teach proper coding techniques and ensure that your fellow developers are considering all pertinent factors to prevent regression defects or the introduction of problematic code.
• Contribute widely to establishing and promoting best SDLC practices and proactively investigate and propose new technologies for use within the department.

You will be working for the STAAT Insights team in the STAAT Sales Technologies & Advance Analytics group in Weehawken, NJ.

We develop efficient real-time solutions for marketing automation & distribution of research over electronic mediums.

Your expertise :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Ideally 10+ years experience in developing enterprise-class applications using Java, Unix / Linux, Spring, Springboot, Kubernetes, Maven, JMS, Oracle, SQL.
• Experience in application development, including analyzing stories, writing code, implementing automated unit tests, contributing to release and iteration planning, and developing the working practices of our team.
• Proficient in all layers of application development and required to stitch together end-to-end applications on the Azure Cloud for our clients, starting from front-end development, back-end development, middleware integration, and persisting data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms, Object Oriented analysis, and design using common design patterns.
• Deep understanding of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.) and excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (Webflux).
• Middleware skills on REST / SOA services, Apigee, or API Connect along with RDBMS and NoSQL skills for persistence.
• Experience in developing new user-facing features using React.js; hands-on expertise in HTML / 5, CSS, REST services, and JavaScript (React.JS).
• Proficient in building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use along with translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Understanding of software development including the full project lifecycle from working on multiple substantial projects using Agile development methodologies.
