Ambassador Personnel is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic for our client in the Stokesdale, NC area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an established company that offers great benefits.
The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain all the equipment to required standards which entails the support for preventative and failure-based maintenance.
Also, this person will recommend changes, modifications or upgrades to improve the performance of the machines.
Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Mechanic :
Maintain all equipment to required standards and provide support for preventative and failure-based maintenance
Install and maintain machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools
Maintain conveyors, auger systems, cables and packaging equipment
Recommend changes, modifications or upgrades of equipment to improve machine reliability and performance
Requirements for the Maintenance Mechanic
High School diploma or equivalent
VO Tech. or Millwright training is preferred
Experience with the OHSA and other applicable safety standards.
