Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
or Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS :
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll perform software requirements analysis, participate in research and design, and develop and test software and tools in support of US Government’s mission as part of the International Monitoring System.
The IMS is a worldwide network of observational technology that helps verify compliance with, and identify violations of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).

What you bring to the table :
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Agile experience preferred
- Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Solid knowledge of the software development process

Qualifications Preferred
Preferred Experience Includes several of the following
- Proficient in two or more languages, including JavaScript, C++, Python
- Experience with JS Frameworks (Angular and React)
- API development experience
- Experience with Cloud development (Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of full life cycle development methodology skills (Agile, CI / CD, DevOps, Git)
- Experience developing in Linux environment
- Experience with database development, including MongoDB and Oracle
- Knowledge of data analysis / Machine Learning tools and concepts
