As our SCM Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our facilities and employees. This is a pivotal role where you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external community partners to continuously enhance our emergency preparedness and response strategies.

Your work will directly contribute to the safety and security of our workforce and assets.

How You'll Create Possibilities

The shift for this position will be 12pm-8pm, onsite in Louisville, KY.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contract Security Oversight (40%)
  • Lead the design, implementation, and validation of processes for contract security personnel.
  • Establish and manage KPIs for security performance, ensuring adherence to contracts.
  • Develop and amend job descriptions, training strategies, and role expectations.
  • Deliver scenario-based security training and continuous improvement projects.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Incident Response (40%)
  • Develop and update emergency preparedness and response plans.
  • Provide 24 / 7 incident response and serve as a subject matter expert in emergency management.
  • Lead or support emergency preparedness training, annual drills, and post-incident reviews.
  • Maintain close liaison with local emergency personnel and first responders.
  • Physical Security & Asset Protection (10%)
  • Oversee and validate physical security policies for asset protection and threat detection.
  • Monitor and ensure operability of access control, asset protection, and threat detection technologies.
  • Support continuous improvement projects related to security technologies.
  • SCM Awareness, Training & Compliance (10%)
  • Support and conduct security and crisis preparedness training.
  • Achieve certification in AVADE or ALICE within your first year (company-sponsored).
  • Promote SCM policies through technology solutions, simulation drills, and hands-on training.

What You'll Bring to Our TeamRequirements :

Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience in corporate security, EHS, emergency services, fire, police, or military;

or 7 years of experience in these fields or a combination of them.

  • 3 years of experience in personnel management.
  • 2 years of experience in emergency preparedness and response.
  • 2 years of experience conducting physical security, risk, and vulnerability assessments, or equivalent experience in compliance and audits.
  • 2 years of project management experience.
  • 2 years of experience in developing, delivering, and validating training programs.
  • 2 years of experience in auditing and validating learning outcomes.
  • Experience managing vendor to contract or equivalent experience managing personnel to project expectations.
  • A team player able to collaborate with cross functional personnel at all levels within the Company.
  • Change oriented - able to effectively generate process improvements; support and deliver change; confront difficult circumstances in creative ways.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and evaluate data / information to make judgments; anticipate obstacles, and develop plans to resolve.
  • 24 / 7 on-call availability for emergency situations (with exception of approved time off).

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Security certifications, AVADE or ALICE Certification or completion within a year.
  • Knowledge of Red Flag Indicators as it relates to Workplace Violence Prevention.
  • Experience working with Unions.
  • Familiarity with physical access control systems software and hardware.
  • Awareness of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) Program.
