Accounting Manager :
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work in an accounting role, interfacing with project managers, overseeing project budgets and timelines, and being responsible for project cash flow.
About the opportunity :
We are looking for an Account Manager, with experience in accounting functions for a small company (under 20 employees), someone comfortable with contract negotiations, forecasting, and collections.
This role reports to the General Manager and CFO. This is a full-time position with a start date adjustable to your current notice period.
Responsibilities :
Working in an accounting role, interfacing with project managers, and overseeing / auditing project budgets and timelines
Preparing monthly and year-end financial statements, cash flow, and other reports
Working closely with an outside accounting firm in annual audit process
Negotiating commercial terms on project contracts with municipal customers and contractors
Responsible for light HR and payroll responsibilities
Responsible for Accounts Payable
Responsible for Accounts Receivable
Responsible for credit and collections
Responsible for company insurance policies
Manage and forecast cash, bank accounts
Manage budgets
Responsible for sales tax in various states General requirements :
Have financial experience for a product-based company
Have financial experience for heavy manufacturing environments
Have financial project accounting experience
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting
