Senior Analyst Medical Economics
A company is looking for a Senior Analyst, Medical Economics to provide support and consultation through analyzing cost, utilization, and revenue for healthcare products.
Key ResponsibilitiesExtract and analyze data to identify medical cost trends and opportunities for financial performance improvementCollaborate with various departments to track key performance indicators and support medical cost reduction initiativesLead projects and provide data-driven analytics to inform executive decision-making and enhance healthcare operationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or related field5+ years of related experience in healthcare, with a strong understanding of Medicaid and Medicare programsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data retrieval and analysisExperience in building dashboards using Power BI and / or TableauKnowledge of healthcare financial terms and managed care concepts
