Job Summary
We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful independent service center.
C.A.R.S. is one of the leading independent repair facilities in the Hudson area. Our team has worked hard and built a reputation of trust and dependability in the community.
As a technician here you will play an important role in maintaining and building that reputation and our team.

We are looking for someone who is highly skilled, motivated, likes to learn, and displays good customer service and team work skills.
Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles. Performing inspections and properly communicating and documenting recommendations and repairs.
As well as assisting other team members when required, and keeping their work space neat.
We are Monday through Friday only, so no weekends.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the dealership’s computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.
Responsibilities
- Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
- Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
- An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence / ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers / SAE certification is preferred
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required
- Previous automotive technician and diagnostic experience required. 4 year minimum preferred.
