Summary :
- The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats, providing family oriented services to the home health patient with oral-motor and / or communication disorders secondary to developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary impairments;
- as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders. This includes patient and caregiver education; discharge planning;
and consultation to other professionals, clinics, or agencies.
Education and Experience :
- Masters degree in speech / language pathology or communication disorders or related
- Pediatric experience preferred
Certification / Licensure :
- CPR certification
- State license or eligible for state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech / Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and must be obtained within 12 months of hire to maintain employment at Cook
- Current Texas driver license in good standing
