Position Overview :
A Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
They will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing support and assistance with any inquiries or issues that may arise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
- Assist customers with technical questions or issues related to the company's manufacturing software and order entry system
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening, understanding, and resolving customer concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Accurately enter and maintain customer information in the company's database
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and make recommendations to management
- Maintain a working knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively address customer inquiries
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as processing orders and updating customer records
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a technical support or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with order entry systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus
