About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Ortho Job Specialty : Ortho in Surgical Services Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience License : OR license (can submit with it pending) Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have : EPIC charting experience Job Description : Will potentially float between hospital units or to affiliate hospitals nearby.
- On-call is not required for this position.- Weekend shifts are not required.- Block schedules may be required (status unknown).
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 3-5.- Candidates may be expected to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Providers will complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours, with any over 20 hours requiring additional approval.- Orientation includes 40 hours and is non-billable.
- Providers may receive communication devices necessary to perform job duties if required. If not supplied, an agreement for reimbursement of work-related cell phone use will be in place.
Additional Information : - COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical and religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
- Flu vaccine requirements are currently unknown.- Scrub color varies by unit, with options for all colors in some areas and provided scrubs in others.
- Must provide a reference covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years. Note : Completion of modules is self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts.
Travelers refusing to float may result in termination of assignment and / or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
