Role : Solar Engineer (Contract Opportunity)

Position Overview :
We are seeking a Solar Engineer to join our client's rapidly growing company. The primary responsibility of this role is to review, sign, and seal plans, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing solar projects and supporting the company's residential and commercial portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and stamp plans, ensuring adherence to the National Electrical Code.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the company by managing a diverse range of solar projects.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance solar engineering processes and standards.
- Establish and maintain compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Qualifications :
- P.E. certification in Florida, with the ability and willingness to obtain additional certifications in other states. Willing to take into consideration E.I.T. or F.E.
- Proficiency in the National Electrical Code is a must; solar engineering experience is advantageous.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat.
- Effective communication skills for plan review, approval, and disapproval.
- Ability to review, sign off, and stamp plans.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
- Basic understanding of residential and commercial solar systems.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with reviewing plans and providing approvals using AutoCAD.
