Job Title : Registered Polysomnographic TechnologistJob Location : Lawton, OKJob Type : Contract - Traveler - 13 WeeksJob Duties : * Set up and calibrate polysomnography equipment for sleep studies.

• Attach electrodes and sensors to monitor brain activity, eye movement, muscle activity, heart rate, and breathing patterns.
• Ensure patient comfort and explain the sleep study procedure to patients.* Continuously observe and record physiological data during the sleep study.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment as needed.* Analyse and score sleep stages, identifying abnormalities such as sleep apnea and hypopneas.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing sleep study findings.* Educate patients about sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain, calibrate, and sanitize sleep study equipment and work areas.* Document all aspects of the sleep study, including patient history and data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality requirements.* Collaborate with sleep physicians and other healthcare professionals on patient care and treatment plans.
