As a Systems Engineer, supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) you will :
- Lead vehicle builds and reconfigurations
- Lead test huddles
- Implement testing to meet program milestones
- Participate in failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards
Develop necessary documentation to support program / company test requirements (test plans, procedures, reports, etc.)
- Work with senior engineers on integration issues and the development of future system capability and test
- Perform cross-program coordination supporting all phases of product development
Desired skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Some experience working in a lab setting supporting electrical or system testing
- experience as a Certified Test Conductor
- Ability to understand complex systems, the ability to work by themselves to perform research necessary to solve system level issues
- Hands-on lab experience, including integration or systems engineering experience.
- Experience with following / developing test plans and procedures.
