This Clinical Nurse position will allow us to maximize our clinical care in all outpatient clinical locations, inpatient floor clinical care for all surgical patients while providing assistance to our team of APP's.
This position will assist all of our current Faculty and APP team members for both Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery.
We are looking for dynamic CT Surgery RN with strong critical thinking, communication, care coordination, and patient advocacy skills.
The RN will cover all areas as needed to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. Will assist with all daily triage duties including Epic WQ, patient and family calls, patient forms completion including EDD, FMLA, work releases, as well as prescription refills, and all other patient care / clinical needs as they arise.
Autonomous nursing care is the ability of a nurse to assess and provide nursing actions as appropriate for patient care populations based on competence, professional expertise, and knowledge.
The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
RN License issued by the State of California.
BLS / CPR and ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
Minimum one year of recent acute care RN experience in CT Surgery.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage multiple levels of information and responsibilities, and to quickly assess moderately-complex problems to develop potential solutions.
Must have excellent skills to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of staff, physicians, patients and external constituents, both verbally and in writing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
BSN / MSN.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Selected candidate may be hired at the CNIII / CNIV level pending review and approval by the Nurse Executive Council.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range : $130,855 - $183,285 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent : $62.67 - $87.78
