You will be the Subcontract Administrator for the Lockheed Martin Santa Barbara Focalplane. Our team is responsible for executing and managing complex suppliers for multiple programs.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for working with established Supplier Management Teams (SMTs) to ensure all applicable subcontract efforts are placed and managed to support program cost, schedule, and performance requirements.

You will need to manage the complex subcontract relationship with a thorough foundation in strategic planning, negotiation, and cross-disciplinary team leadership.

Your responsibilities will include :

Work with program management teams to generate and manage subcontract efforts for complex components procured from assigned suppliers on the program.

Perform price analysis and use of cost evaluations for development of pre-negotiation strategies.

Lead negotiations and completion of subcontract / Purchase Order (PO) documentation, invoice reconciliation, and payment.

Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.

Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Lead a team made up of various functions to develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of innovation and follow through.

Work with program management and other areas of the business for timely status and conclusion of subcontract matters and resolution of issues.

Basic Qualifications :

Experience in supply chain, contracts, proposals, procurement, or contract negotiation.

Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills

Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and FAR / DFAR requirements

Familiarity with SAP / P2P / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software

Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Team-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills

Ability to interact with internal and supplier management on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizations

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites - Excel, PowerPoint & Word.

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800 .

• Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons;
• receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;

receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,500 - $119,500.
