Are you the relationship-builder distributors call first? You understand the rhythm of the channel—ride-alongs, counter days, product training, and joint calls that turn interest into orders. If you love owning a territory and being the face of a trusted brand, this mission is for you.

Your Mission

  • Be the primary point of contact for distributor partners (lumber yards and building suppliers), strengthening loyalty and increasing sell-through.
  • Open new distributor accounts to expand reach and coverage across your area.
  • Run persuasive product presentations and deliver practical technical support.
  • Operate with high independence while coordinating strategy with sales leadership.
  • Travel the territory frequently—about two nights per week—to stay close to the action.

Where You’ll Operate

  • Territory 1 : Indiana / Ohio (Cincinnati & Indianapolis area)
  • Territory 2 : Northern Michigan / Detroit area
  • What It Takes

  • 5+ years of B2B outside sales; building materials background strongly preferred.
  • Proven territory management through distributors (no direct-to-homeowner sales).
  • Exceptional communication and relationship skills with a consultative approach.
  • Comfort working without micromanagement; you set the cadence and deliver.
  • Clean driving record; business-use fleet vehicle provided.
  • Nice to Bring

  • Windows, doors, or broader building products sales experience.
  • Understanding of distribution channels and dealer networks.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Compensation & Upside

  • Base : around $70,000
  • Commission (monthly) : typically $5,000–$12,000
  • First-Year Total : $110,000–$115,000 (long-term $130,000–$170,000)
