Mariposa Therapy Services is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona and we are proud to be a local, women and therapist owned and operated organization.

Since 2009, our company is a leader in therapeutic services by supporting thousands of pediatric clients receiving speech, feeding, occupational, and physical therapy services in schools, in our clinic locations and in homes throughout the state of Arizona.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE :

1. SCHOOL-BASED SLP

  • Part time or Full time positions
  • Locations - Throughout the Phoenix-Metro Valley (East, Central & West Valley)
  • Follow a School Calendar & enjoy Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer Breaks
  • Manageable caseloads monitored by a dedicated Schools Director
  • Direct therapy or Supervisory roles available
  • Supervisory / Mentor roles have greatest flexibility (mom-friendly) with HYBRID schedule that allows a balance of home and on-site

Responsibilities

  • Plan and provide school-based group and / or individual therapeutic interventions with a variety of disabilities
  • Use of creative and engaging therapy ideas to increase client's attention, motivation and progress
  • Share and collaborate with other team members (families, teachers, staff)
  • Data collection : complete accurate daily notes, quarterly progress & IEP using web-based documentation system
  • Demonstrate positive rapport with students, families and staff
  • Comply with all school processes to adhere to state / federal guidelines for therapy delivery
  • Evaluations, screenings, classroom observations and teacher collaboration

Requirements :

  • Arizona Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Licensed to practice physical, occupational, speech therapy in the state of Arizona
  • CPR & Article 9 training
