Radiologic Technologist
Primary Functions :
- Demonstrate the ability to use problem solving skills to reach independent decisions, tailoring exams to the patient’s condition and level of cooperation as necessary.
- Select appropriate radiation exposure factors according to body area, body habitus, and patient condition.
- Use skills to obtain diagnostic quality images consistently while minimizing radiation exposure to patient.
- Produce thorough exam documentation on a consistent basis.
- Demonstrate competency in the operation of Imaging equipment by following safe operating procedures as recommended by original equipment manufacturer.

Background / Expertise :
- One (1) year of experience in X-Ray preferred. Not Required.
- Requires BLS from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- Must have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiography.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification within Six (6) months of hire.
