This role reports into our corporate location in Germantown, WI. The ideal candidate would be open to onsite work that requires travel to multiple locations.

You will

  • Monitor federal, state, and international health and safety regulations and advises Business Unit leaders on changing requirements
  • Develop policies, procedures and training programs at a corporate level and at a Business Unit level
  • Measure effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures including monitoring and assessing exposure to health risks
  • Process Workers' Compensation claims, investigations and return to work processes with employees, managers, and HR business partners
  • Complete job safety analyses to determine necessary controls and what Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is needed
  • Collaborate with businesses to ensure employees adhere to safety policies and Business Units implement EH&S programs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety and Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent is preferred
  • 5+ years of environmental, health, and safety related experience, including 2+ years of management experience
  • US Citizenship (ITAR) required. Professional designations preferred : Certified Hazard Control Manager (CHCM), 30-hour OSHA Certified, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification or Associate Safety professional (ASP) is preferred.
  • History of maintaining organized, comprehensive records
  • Proven ability to exercise judgment of conflicting priorities to solve problems
  • Able to apply risk-based thinking while multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of management and leaders to influence without direct authority
  • Maintains confidential and sensitive data such as employee claim information, chemical formulations, and product applications.
  • Ability to build and track budgets
