Position Summary

The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a faculty position in anatomic pathology with subspecialty training and expertise in gastrointestinal (GI) and liver pathology.

Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and candidates with clinical and academic administrative experience are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with research interest in GI, liver and / or other anatomic pathology-specific areas will be given priority. The successful candidate will hold an or equivalent degree with board certification and subspecialty training and experience.

  • Fellowship training in GI, liver, and / or surgical pathology.
  • Board certified or board eligible in anatomic pathology (AP), clinical pathology (CP), or both.
  • Eligible for unrestricted Nebraska medical license.

Supplemental Qualifications

  • Experience in GI and / or liver pathology.
  • Experience in medical student, pathology resident and or pathology subspecialty fellow training.
  • Interest or expertise in research and / or scholarly activity.
