A bit about us :

Based in Murfreesboro, TN, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring top-notch quality in automotive manufacturing. In this role, you'll address manufacturing and field complaints by analyzing and solving part quality issues, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented to maintain process stability.

You'll audit products both at suppliers and on the customer's manufacturing line to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards, contributing to the overall success and reliability of our products.

Job Details

  • Utilize your expertise in metals, chassis, powertrain, and electrical components to solve quality issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) to enforce 8D and FMEA requirements with suppliers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and determine whether issues stem from assembly, logistics, or supplier-related factors.
  • Document all activities in customer systems, supporting problem-solving and supplier chargebacks.
  • Analyze data to define countermeasures and support production by attending meetings and tracking key issues.
  • Oversee ongoing investigations and ensure smooth transitions across shifts.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or at least 3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards in automotive manufacturing, particularly in seat assembly and related processes.
