Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 45 - 17 : 15)
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours for 8 / 10's
Experience : Minimum of 18 months required, 2 years preferred, with direct CVOR experience
License : Current state-specific nursing license
Certifications : BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
Must-Have : Experience in Cardiac OR
Job Description :
- Participate in CVOR cardiac and other surgical cases as required.
- Be available for cardiac call, with a minimum of 6 calls per month.
- Adapt to facility needs, including floating within scope.
- Complete time-sensitive training modules promptly once confirmed for an assignment.
- Maintain a smoke-free status; all travelers must be nicotine-free with no exceptions.
- Complete a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start.
- Undergo EKG and Pharm tests with two attempts maximum each during orientation.
- Accommodate a non-block schedule; first-time travelers are accepted.
- Provide two references from a direct supervisor / manager or director for the unit submitted.
- Complete 16 hours of orientation.
