Work Shift : Day
The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit consists of 22 semi-private rooms and specializes in post-surgical care for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery.
Nurses in this role assess, plan, implement, and manage patient needs, with a focus on progress toward discharge and continuity of care.
They work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities include :
- Administering medications and treatments
- Interpreting diagnostic tests
- Evaluating patient needs and responses to care
- Collaborating with the nursing team to create patient care plans
- Guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining nursing standards
Minimum qualifications :
- Graduate of a professional nursing program
- Current state Registered Nurse license
- Certification in BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC
- Commitment to continuing education
