The Neurology team provides care for a variety of acute patients - including stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, brain tumors and bleeds. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN preferred) Licensure Current RN license in Missouri or compact license per state regulations Must maintain active licensure and meet all regulatory requirements Certifications Required : BLS (AHA) – or obtained within 30 days of hire Preferred / Unit-Dependent : ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., CPHON, OCN, C-EFM, or other specialty certifications Physical Requirements Ability to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching Experience Clinical experience preferred; specialty experience may be required by unit Preferred Qualifications BSN Compact / multi-state license Specialty certifications Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth We’re bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.
