Job Description :
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Houston, TX, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services to students, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and district policies.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Texas state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically and socially.
