The ideal candidate will primarily work on electrical, technology installations, CCTV, and access control installations in various environments throughout Virginia.

Responsibilities and DutiesInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain raceways, wiring, and equipment for electrical systems, access controls, intrusion detection, and other systems.

Inspects, tests, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuitsAbility to identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazardPerforms all work following safety procedures;

Other duties as assignedQualifications and SkillsCurrent Journeyman Electrician licenseMinimum two years experience in the electrical tradeExperience working with voltages up to 480vExperience installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting / power systemsFamiliarity with electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling / removing wireAbility to possess and maintain a DCJS RegistrationThis position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
