Position : Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : private school in Newtown, Bucks County
Schedule : Full-Time (M-F, 8 am - 4 pm)
Extended School Year (ESY)
Pay : $65,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience)
Potential's Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team of teachers, behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and physical therapists serving school students of all ages.

You will work school hours (between 8 am - 4 pm) Monday - Friday following our extended school year (ESY) calendar. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Review client / student records
- Identify client / student developmental speech and communication disorders, and assess swallowing and communication difficulties arising from a variety of causes via evaluations
- Write progress reports
- Familiarity with language and articulation assessment and treatment
- Design and implement Plan of Care
- Recommend hours of services
- Design and implement functional individualized education plans (IEPs) and attend IEP meetings
- Implement goal-oriented 1 : 1 and small group sessions and consultation with education team
- Familiarity with AAC evaluation, troubleshooting, operation, maintenance, and repair
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree and license to practice in Pennsylvania
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Will accept Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants
- Beneficial (but not required) to be credentialed through insurance companies
- Builds excellent rapport with clients, co-workers, and parents easily on a daily basis
- Ability to create professional relationships with clients
- Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate interdisciplinary communication within an active, collaborative work environment
