Shift : Days / 7a-7p, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, Every other weekend

Length : 13 weeks

Other Details :

• Patient Ratios : RN : 1 : 1, 1 : 2, 1 : 3 (rare) acuity dependent
• Beds : 39 MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU mixed unit
• ICU RN qualified to float to ED
• Travelers must live 100 miles away

Patient Types : Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and traumaDiagnoses include but are not limited to : ARDS, MI, CVA / TIA, COVID, s / p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma heavy trauma populationCardiac experience is preferred (not required) : CABG / TAVR 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelersWill not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this given to permanent staff Support on the Unit : CNA : 1-2 Nurse Aide’s per unit + mobility float aideCharge nurse : 2 CRN’s oversee all ICUsPhlebotomy?

Yes, peripheral blood draws onlyIV / VAT Team? ICU CRNs place all midlinesResource Nurse : Yes, staffing dependentRT : Yes, 24 / 7Physicians : 3 Intensivists on days, 2 on nights + APP on nights
