Apply today! Responsibilities :
- Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
- Use molds to create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so that their mouthguards, dentures, veneers, etc. are correctly made
- Inform patients of all ages about how to care for their teeth by brushing and flossing on a regular basis
- Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified
- Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination
- Help patients achieve optimal preventive care at home Qualifications :
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
- 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work
- Capable of standing all day to assist patients
- Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines
- Current CPR certification
- Local anesthesia certified preferred
- Nitrous Oxide Administration certificate preferred Compensation : $64 - $67 hourly
- Help patients achieve optimal preventive care at home
