About The Position
Job Title : Vascular Surgery TechnicianJob Specialty : Surgery - Vascular TeamJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : 6 : 30 am 10 hr Days - 40 hours per weekGuaranteed Hours : Not specifiedExperience : Minimum of 2 years requiredLicense : Not specifiedCertifications : Preferred, not requiredMust-Have : - Strong experience in Trauma (excluding burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, Ortho spine, Gyn, Urology, Robotics for both General and Neuro, Plastics, Breasts, EyesJob Description : - Work in a 492-bed Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Primary Stroke Center.
- Utilize technologies such as Cerner EMR, Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Spacelabs monitors.- Collaborate with OR desk assistants, some FAs, charge nurses, and team leaders for service lines.
- Perform duties that include AAA, carotids, AVG, AVF, Fem-Fem bypass, aorta bi-fem, and general trauma; endovascular experience preferred.
- Partake in two-week orientation on day shift, including buddy call during orientation.- Engage in weekend rotation and on-call assignments, excluding Open Heart service line.
- Expectation to work a holiday as per contract.- Wear green scrub color, provided.
