For more information, please visit us at Position Summary : PRIMARY CARE (MEDICAL) PER DIEM / ON CALL This is a Primary Care Medical position.
The Provider will provide a full scope of specialty services to Employer’s patients at Employer’s Facilities. Provider shall perform all duties and services under Employer’s general direction, control, and supervision;
however, Employer will not impose other employment duties or constraints that require Provider to infringe the ethics of the medical profession, violate any law, or practice outside Provider’s scope of practice and experience.
Provider retains the right to exercise Provider’s independent medical judgment in providing care and treatment to patients.
Provider shall be courteous and respectful of the rights and dignity of patients with whom he / she comes into contact and shall work cooperatively with Employer’s administrative staff.
Provider shall abide by all Employer policies and procedures, as adopted and updated from time to time. Provider shall provide services to all patients regardless of their race, sexual preference, religion, gender, or ability or inability to pay and any other class protected by law.
Qualifications Provider’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following : 1. Provide professional medical care to Employer’s patients in accordance with professional standards of care, quality and practice protocols and policies, as adopted from time to time by Employer and as required by law.
2. Perform the particular duties assigned by Employer from time to time. 3. Keep and maintain appropriate records, reports, claims, and correspondence necessary and appropriate in connection with all professional services Provider renders under this Agreement and as required by Employer policies and procedures in effect from time to time.
This includes, but is not limited to, the policy on documentation and timely completion of practice-based medical records that is in effect from time to time.
All such records, reports, claims, and correspondence belong to Employer. 4. Promote Employer’s professional practice, to the extent permitted by law and the applicable canons of professional ethics 5.
Attend to the administrative duties of the Employer’s professional practice, to the extent required by Employer’s policies.
6. Perform all acts reasonably necessary to maintain and improve Provider’s professional skills. 7. Participate in marketing / public relations of his / her duties such as speaking engagements, newspaper interviews, etc.
