Job Description :
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year at an elementary school in Sleepy Hollow, IL.
This part-time position offers a fulfilling opportunity to work with young learners, helping them overcome speech and language challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students specific goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Illinois state SLP license or eligibility for certification.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
